Mother of the Year!

I realize it is only 13 days into the new year, but my phone just rang.....I just solidified myself to win "Mother of the Year!" That's right! I'm the winner. I can't believe it. It must be from my great parenting skills. Sorry to all you other mothers that were striving for that goal, it's fulfilled. Really, not everyone can be as great as a mother as me. I mean it, check out the pictures!

I let my children absorb themselves in TV. Even my 8 month old can't pry herself away. Why can't other mothers learn that this is the best way to parent.

I even keep my baby up late. I let her sleep in her car seat. I realize the experts say this is bad, but really, I'm the one who has won "Mother of the Year" so what do they know? Look at how peaceful she is. If the experts could only see her now.

Oh yea, and I also have an 8 month old child with a broken leg! Yea! that's right, I let my baby fall off my bed and break her leg. Can anyone beat that? I don't think so.

Christmas has come and gone

We had another great Christmas. The girls loved their presents and had so much fun with so many cousins!!! We have partied and partied. It's always sad when it's over. Poor Cambree bawled as we put the Christmas decorations away. I didn't have the heart to take a picture of her sitting on the top step to the basement and sobbing, but it will always be etched in my mind. I hate it when Christmas is over too. Oh well, I guess I'll start preparing for next year's.

Eight Months

I'm growing and I'm learning so many great things! I've already been here for eight months. I can sit up by myself (I don't stay up for to long, I've got to move!), I can roll anywhere! I can even "crawl" backwards. I love to talk and have learned to make sounds as if I am really saying something. I still love to watch my sisters and can get laughing pretty hard at the funny things they do. I love toys...I am always putting them in my mouth. My hands are pretty cool inventions...I use them to grab, pull, and wave. I also like nodding and shaking my head, yes and no. One of my favorite things to do, though, is to kiss my mommy! I think she likes it too.

Christmas Time

Is there anything better than the Christmas season? I don't think so.....full of treats, friends, family, beautiful lights, and of course the reason for the season.

7 Months!

I'm already seven months old! That means I'm on the downhill slide to one year! This life has flown by me. I have really woken up this last month. I am always so happy, and love to watch life go on in my house. I especially love to watch my sisters, they make me laugh real hard. I have mastered rolling and am working on crawling. I can get my legs under me, but then I can't get my head off the ground, oh well, I'll keep working at it. I still am trying to keep my balance when I sit. People call me a Cupie Doll a lot of times and I get a lot of compliments on my eyes. My hair is even starting to come in thicker, I think I am going to be a dark blond, but I still have some red in there when the sun hits it right. I love to hear my own voice. My favorite thing is to blow strawberries! It's really fun to blow strawberries when Mommy is feeding me. She tries to give me what she calls solid food, I'm not sure how I feel about it, I really like my bottle. Life sure is fun! I can't wait and see what I can do next month, because I sure like learning new things.

Six Months!

I'm six months old!!! I can't believe I'm that old. Neither can my mom. I actually saw snow for the first time in my life. My personality is really starting to develop. I love to laugh and to make other people laugh. My favorite game is peek-a-boo with my sisters. I'm learning to grab my toes. If I don't grab them, I stare at them a lot. My mommy set me down the other day, and I just sat there. She had no idea that I could hold myself up. I can hold my own bottle, and I love to grab things with my hands. I rarely hold still, when Mommy tries to change me, I try to roll really fast just to make it more challenging for her. I love to "talk" especially at night. My voice is the best thing ever. Actually, the very best thing about being six months old is that I got to finally meet my Grandma and Grandpa. I love them!
