All Our Dreams Came True!

We just had a dream weekend! We decided we'd try to surprise the girls with a trip to Disneyland. I'd say we did a pretty good job at surprising them. We told them we had to pick up someone from the airport. When we got there we told them to grab their carseats and to come take a suitcase. We checked in and they still didn't know where we were going until they saw their cousins in line to check in. Their eyes got huge and they started jumping up and down and knew we were off to Disneyland.

We found a great way to get our whole gang into one car, plus it saved us money.

"Born Jedi" and she was picked!

She was the only child that got to use the force on the Storm Troopers,

as well as fight Darth Vader.

Sick of Sick!

So on February 1st, Tianne threw up everywhere! This started the ball of "I hate February" rolling. Of course the day after her came Cambree, then Shayla a day after that. Of course Brian and I were not exempt either. Then Tianne decided it was her turn again, and again, and again. She also thought it would be great to develop a terrible cough during this whole event. Pretty soon she decided to throw a double ear infection into the mix. All in all, the entire month of February, Tianne has been sick and I'm sick of it! After listening to her cough and seeing her lay around and sleep all day, I decided to go back into the doctor, again!

Then this..

Luckily she tested negative for pneumonia and asthma! To which I'm grateful, yet frustrated that I was told it was probably one nasty virus. I love that "v" word. In other words, hurry up and wait it out! Luckily he did give me some steroids to help the cough and to speed up recovery (typing with fingers crossed). They actually seem to be working too. So maybe we might salvage the last 4 days of February after all.

Why is this always so sad? I love those curls, and that cute little baby face. Why do they have to grow up and change so fast?

It just had to be done...

Now look what happens to my baby! No more curls, but cuter than ever.

Perfect 4 today!

"I'm four today. And it's all pink all day!!!" That's the quote I heard all day long. Cambree was upset that Mom wasn't dressed in all pink like her. She was so glad that Tianne was wearing a pink shirt in her behalf. She had to have two different pink outfits, because she had to dress up to go out to dinner at the "peanut place" (Texas Roadhouse). She had a wonderful day. All she wanted to do was visit Dad at work and play at his office. Then we bought balloons, and "blowers" for her birthday. We got home in time for Shayla to get home from school. There was some great play time and when Dad got home it was time for presents!!!! What a perfect day for a four year old! How we love her!!!!!

Am I Ready For Pre-School??

She's four! I can't believe it's gone so fast. And all she wants to know is if she is old enough to go to school. I say, "What's the rush?" Look how far you've come BabyGirl!!

Well, I have to say, it was another successful New Year's party! What a blast! Filled with food, cousins games, sleep overs, and oh yeah, bubble wrap!!!

Then for the new year we had to learn a new skill! Way to go Shayla!
