Already Ten Months Old!

Can you believe I'm already 10 months old? My mommy and daddy can't. I love to talk, laugh, and play. I only have two teeth, and no one knows when I'm going to get more. My hair is coming in a little thicker, but it's still blond and it likes to stick up everywhere.

I'm so big!

I crawl fast! And refuse to be in a room alone.
I want to be where the action is at all times.

I do not believe in shoes or socks, no matter how cold.
Just try putting them on me and see how fast I take them off.

My biggest accomplishment is pulling myself up on my feet.
I prefer standing to sitting any day.

Standing against the fireplace to play is my favorite place in the world to be.

Oh, Wonderful World of Disney!

Should I just apologize now for all the pictures you are about to scroll through? No, I don't think so. There were just so many taken, so many cute ones, and so many that you don't get to see. But I do have to say, that we had a blast at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you don't believe me, just take a look.


We are off, Shayla is not so sure she wouldn't rather be in bed still, but that will change.

Cambree didn't even make it through the front gates

Yes, this is a family picture. I think the photographer was more interested in getting the castle than Cambree.

Shayla decided that Disneyland is far better than being in bed.

Nine Months Old

I'm nine months old! I am learning lots of new things.

I love to play with toys, especially my sister's toys! I cry, now, when things are taken away from me that I am playing with. I crawl now too, and I am pretty fast. I love to pull myself up onto things. If I am especially brave, I'll even try to pull up onto my feet.

My personality is really starting to come out. I am a funny little girl and love to laugh, and make others laugh. I interact well with my big sister and think I am as big as she is. I love to kiss my mom and sister, but hate kissing my prickly daddy. I talk constantly and sometimes even yell, just to hear the sound of my voice. My mom says that I am a joy to have in the family. I love to be loved and to give love!

Halloween Dance

Shayla got to do a special Halloween dance recital. Since no one was allowed to come, except for parents, we thought we'd share this way. She loves to dance. This had been a long day for her, so the dance wasn't as heartfelt as she normally dances, but it was still cute. Sit back, relax, enjoy some popcorn and watch the "Alien Bop"!

You Oughta Be In Pictures

Shayla decided the other day, that instead of reading a book about opposites, she should act it out. Here is her interpretation of the opposites in her book. She figured out everything on her own, without any help. This is the fifth or sixth time she acted it, so she wasn't as animated as she had been earlier. Even so, she is still really quite amazing. (I think, but I'm biased.)

1st Time Bowling

Shayla loves to bowl on Nintendo Wii! She's really good too! So we decided we should take her to see what real bowling was like. We had a blast and she did great! The first time she bowled she knocked down 1 pin! She was a little disappointed at the end of the night, that she didn't even get a strike the whole night. She's decided to stick with the Wii, where she can get strikes.
