I'm a month already!

Don't tell my mom I'm writing this without her permission, but I'm already a month old.  I can't believe I've been on Earth that long!  I thought I'd brag about all the things I can do, now that I'm so mature!

I love to smile!

I am very alert!

I love to look around and see what's going on.  I follow sounds really well.

I'm rarely left alone, but enjoy it when I am.

I am such a happy, easy-going baby.  I love being alive!

One Big Happy Family

The first couple of days that we had Tianne home, we had the most beautiful rainbows in our backyard.  We felt that it was a welcome present to Tianne for coming to earth.

The girls were excited to see the rainbow.  For a minute we felt we lived in Hawaii, minus the beaches, warm weather, fresh fruit.........Ok, so we saw a rainbow, nothing else was like Hawaii.

One night we had a late dinner.  The girls were already fed, but Brian and I hadn't eaten, so we sat down to eat quickly so we could get the girls to bed.  Shayla stepped up.  She took Cambree upstairs and got them both ready for bed.  Then we found them sitting together in the chair, while Shayla read her Book of Mormon to Cambree.  After she was done with the scriptures, she read her a bedtime story, helped her with her prayers and helped tucked her in bed.  It was the sweetest thing we had ever seen.

Tianne has wasted no time in learning to look up to her sister.  She sat and stared at Shayla for quite a while.

Could she be any cuter?  Look at those wide eyes, taking everything in.

The three sisters love to hang out together.  And Tianne watches every move of both her sisters.

Oh, my, I'm in love!  I can't believe I have three girls!  We were worried we would never have any children.  Now look!

We couldn't be more thrilled with our family of five!

(the sacrifices you make, putting in fat face pictures  of yourself just because everyone else looks good, I guess that's what you call being a mom)

Happy Easter!

I realize Easter was like 5 days ago, but I'm just posting now.  But Easter was so much fun and there are always so many things to take pictures.  So here's a million pictures of all the festivities.

Dying Easter Eggs!

Beautiful New Easter Dresses.

Family Easter Egg Hunt

Despite being sick, Cambree was still able to hunt for eggs.

Counting our eggs before they crack.

Conference

Conference is about the best weekend of the year!  I love having an excuse to sit around and watch TV all weekend long without even feeling guilty.  There is always fun to be had on Conference weekend!

First you have to get in the proper attire and find the perfect position to watch TV.
Cambree has that down!

Next you need to have the family all gather to one spot!  Plus you must have plenty of projects to keep you awake!

Wait!  There are no little boys in that last picture.  Where did all the little boys go?
Oh, up to play with the dollhouse, of course where else would they be?

If you really want to listen, it might be easier to find a quieter spot to concentrate on the what is being said.

And, you can't enjoy Conference without lots of good food to eat.  Max has figured out the best concoction, Cheetos slurppy anyone?

Shayla got to participate in a special nursery rhyme program at school.  All the kindergartners had a poem to memorize,  had to dress up to go along with it, and bring a prop that also coincided.  They sang a lot of nursery rhyme songs as a group with cute actions. Shayla was the Queen of Hearts!  I personally thought Shayla did great.  We had fun coming up with a costume and she enjoyed performing.  Even her little sister enjoyed the program.  The yummiest part was the end where they served us "hot crossed buns."
